Permissible speeds for the ball cage

Rotational speed calculation:
For rotational movements, the cage rotational speed nK relative to the stationary bearing component is calculated as follows:

Revolving shaft

Revolving guide bush

Standard values for permissible rotational speeds

The maximum permissible rotational speed of a rotary stroke bearing depends on the preload v, the load, the lubrication and the heat dissipation.

The specified values should be regarded as recommended values for rotational movements. In case of a combined linear-rotary movement, the conditions become less favorable depending on the stroke length and stroke frequency, so that the permissible rotational speeds are considerably lower.

For fast linear/rotational movements it is preferable to separate the motions.
